Advanced Lighting Technology was formed in 1987 to provide affordable solutions to reduce the cost of lighting in the Commercial and Industrial sectors. Since then, our expertise has been utilised by many of the UK’s leading Companies, Local Authorities, Retailers, and Contractors to reduce both energy and maintenance costs, enhance the working environments, comply with legislation and help to reduce Carbon Dioxide emissions.

Many of the projects we have completed have achieved exceptional results. We halved the energy consumption of an automotive components factory, increased the light levels and saved over £90,000 per year in electricity costs with the project paying for itself in under 12 months. One of the UK’s leading Bakeries has reduced their energy consumption by over 70% while dramatically improving the colour rendering of the lighting. One of the worlds most famous Tea factories replaced their existing Metal Halide luminaires with fluorescent luminaires on a one for one basis resulting in an energy reduction of over 60%.

The savings that can be achieved following the implementation of our proposals can be very swift, in many instances paying for themselves within 12 months for industrial clients and within three years for office environments.

Innovation

Our philosophy is to embrace new technology where it offers our customers realisable benefits.

We were the first Company in the UK to supply the new Osram Induction lamp with its 60,000 hour life and we now offer the most comprehensive and cost effective range of luminaires incorporating this lamp in the UK. The luminaires have been installed in Sports Halls, car parks, food factories, Universities and warehouses. These luminaires have a comprehensive five year guarantee.

We offer a comprehensive range of luminaires featuring the latest generation of slimline T5 lamp technology which offers outstanding rated average lamp life of 25,000 hours which represents 10 years life in an office where the lights are in use for 10 hours per day, 5 days per week, 50 weeks per year.

Quality

We realise the vital importance of the highest quality of products to ensure the lowest possible whole of life costs to our customers. As a consequence, all of our luminaires are supplied with a minimum of a full 12 month guarantee. Extended warrenty of up to 5 years are also availible subject to conditions. 

How can we help you?

To harness fully the expertise we can offer, we survey the existing lighting, detailing the types of fittings, the energy consumption and costs, and establish the requirements for the system. Once this has been identified, we can usually develop a range of options with both savings and costs clearly identified.

Since the Companies inception, we have gained considerable experience in the design and manufacture of specialist luminaires for particular projects. This flexibility in the design and manufacture of luminaires provides the specifier with a relatively fast, flexible and quality solution for even the most demanding of applications such as the Heathrow Express check in desk at Paddington Station, or the Swiss Light on the chimney of Tate Modern.

Since we are able to produce bespoke luminaires of the highest quality, quickly and economically, we are often able to offer cost effective alternatives for specific projects.

Enhanced Capital Allowances

Enhanced Capital Allowances offer significant financial incentives for profitable Companies, and Advanced Lighting Technology were the first lighting Company to be in the UK to be listed on the approved supplier list.

The majority of the luminaires in the Advanced Lighting range qualifies for the ECA depending on the lamp source and we are able to advise on the optimum type of fitting from our comprehensive range.
